at Future of Mining 2019
The Future of Mining conference brought together global mining leaders to share their vision of how mining will evolve and embrace emerging technology like Artificial Intelligence, IIoT, Autonomous Vehicles, and Augmented Reality. Up against a shortlist of exciting innovators, our CEO Brad Parsons pitched the FitMachine vision to a panel of industry judges and won Startup of the Year!

Lord Mayor's High-Growth Business Startup
The Lord Mayor’s Business Awards recognise the best and most innovative businesses and entrepreneurs in Brisbane. In 2019, we were lucky enough to attend the gala awards dinner and win the ANZ Award for High-Growth Business Start-Up! The award recognises companies tackling global markets that have undergone significant growth (revenue, employee numbers, customer numbers and/or markets) whether they are a start-up or more mature business.
KPMG Australia Energise Award
As part of KPMG Australia's Energise Accelerator program that matches established businesses with start-ups, we were humbled to win three awards for being one of Australia's most promising energy, mining and natural resources start-ups. We were lucky enough to be chosen as a top 12 finalist amongst 140 selected businesses, win runner-up for Customer Pitch, and win first place in the Investment Pitch category!




Tech23 CSIRO Collaboration Award
The Tech23 Awards Ceremony brought together Australian investors, entrepreneurs and innovators to showcase world-class startups with high growth potential and technical expertise tackling big problems. Amongst the top Australian technology innovators, we were awarded the CSIRO Collaboration Award from CSIRO’s CEO himself, Larry Marshall!
Dow Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge (SISCA) Award
The Dow SISCA Award recognizes the work of graduate and professional students with innovative ideas and research that encourages and promotes sustainable solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental problems. Our team won runner-up with the concept of FitMachine and an energy harvesting device designed to power FiMachine sustainably.
